Today I was streaming video from an SVCD MPEG2, that was inside multi-volume RAR files, then ZIPped, and I said to myself, "You should really go outside today." After a tub of ice-cream to make me feel better, I realized MPlayer is pretty cool. Window$ Media Player can’t even play MPEG2’s by default and here I am playing a ZIP? Linux Monkeys have known about this project forever, but now there are precompiled Windows and OS X releases available for the other 99% of people out there. There’s even a GUI for you command line haters. Of course, even a chimp could type "mplayer TheVideo.avi"
