Tamiflu Sales Suspended in Canada

I guess so many Canadians read my blog that I drove the sales of Tamiflu to the point that Roche suspended commercial sales. That’s the power of the mix of tech news and bikini feeds, my friends :-)

Since you can’t buy the drugs anymore, now might be a good time to stock up on face-masks ;-)

CBC News: Tamiflu sales suspended as personal stockpiles grow

Roche Pharmaceuticals has temporarily stopped sales of its patented antiflu drug Tamiflu to pharmacies worldwide, saying it needs to safeguard its supply before influenza season begins.

Demand for Tamiflu increased sharply over the last few weeks as governments, individuals and businesses stockpiled the drug because of fears avian influenza outbreaks could trigger a global pandemic in humans
