I stumbled around this site when I was playing with thumbnailing videos in PHP. It’s no comparison to YouTube I suppose, but I thought the “What we’re all doing on Vimeo at this moment” constantly updating via Ajax was a nice touch. It really gives a sense of what people are doing at this very moment beyond just listing the most popular videos.

There are a lot of sites for sharing video clips. Vimeo is different becase it is much more personal than other sites. Most clips on Vimeo were made by the person who uploaded them.
