In my never-ending search to find great bands before my much more “musical” friends *cough Evan, Kat*, I came across this band, Scissors for Lefty, out of SF.  I’d had their album on loop for a couple days now, and I’m really into it.  If feel like some, I dunno how to describe it, “happy” indie rock, check em out.
