With (Google)YouTube now in deep copyright trouble with the major networks in the U.S., and starting to remove content at the request of copyright-holders, I would like to be the first to declare Dailymotion as the successor to YouTube. It has all the same features, but seems to have loads of copyrighted content (e.g. [...]

In the spirit of driving viewers to their broadband player (I guess), CTV has posted the entire O.C. season 4 premiere episode in their broadband player the night before it airs. The episode hasn’t even leaked onto bittorrent YouTube yet so this must be a pre-emptive move on the part of the network. [...]
