For the Windows Vista launch, Microsoft decided to build an ice house in downtown Toronto. Never the ones to shy away from some free promotion, the Ubuntu Toronto chapter decided to bring a giant Tux, the Linux penguin, to the event and place it across the street. They were even giving out copies of Ubuntu for free.
The next step, I suppose, would have been to have a flamethrowing version of Tux melt that place to the ground, while yelling “Linux forever! O/S was meant to be free”. However, I’m not aware of any reports of that happening…yet. *hint, hint*
