If you’re following my continuing saga of WhyYouShould, you’ll be happy to know that I’ve finally got membership up-and-running! You can now create an account so everyone will know the zany reasons why you think you should do stuff.

If you’re into the backend stuff (not that “backend” you sick pervert) you’ll notice that I rearchitected the site from PHP to ASP.NET. I did so mainly to take advantage of the built-in ASP.NET 2.0 Membership Provider, and make working with the database a little easier. With membership built, I can now get to work on a lot of the features people have been asking for like statistics and notifications.

Anyhow, hope you like the new WYS! There’s lots more to come
