‘Heroes’ HD Only on Satellite in Canada

By Jonathan + April 30th, 2007

New Heroes episodes started airing again last week. I’m a fan of the show and was psyched to have it back. I have a high-definition PVR from Ontario’s biggest cable provider, Rogers, and it was all set to record. But when I went to watch it last week, it had recorded a [...]

Shatnerisms

By Jonathan + April 30th, 2007

I got introduced to Shatnerisms (things William Shatner’s character says on ‘Boston Legal’) by some folks at the office today, so I started a list on WYS. He his writers are funny dude dudes

I dunno, he might give Chuck Norris a run for his money

Frolicking Horses

By Jonathan + April 29th, 2007

I took my horse, Seven (the chestnut/brown one), cross-country schooling today. After we were done, she got to spend some time outside in a paddock with her friends.

I was taking some photos of her when this scene unfolded behind her. Tiko (the black mare) seemed to have a good time

I decided to continue to tradition of posting random photos of Rachel Bilson. I prepared a ten point presentation on my reasons for doing so, but I doubt anyone is reading this anyhow before looking at the photo so THERE! THERE YOU GO! Merry Xmas

Faced with declining circulation, many U.S. newspapers are trying to engage readers by allowing them to respond [...]

I’m going to hire some voice talent

By Jonathan + April 24th, 2007

Don’t ask me how I came across this Non-Union Voice Talent website where you can try-out their voices, but I did. So there. Case closed.

UPDATE: By popular demand, I am appending a funny little blurb to accompany the link. Umm…”Here’s a whole site devote to future phone-sex workers”? Nah, that’s kinda [...]

Emily Scott

By Jonathan + April 19th, 2007

Sweet Jebus! Who is this, Emily Scott?! She’s Australian I guess, and that’s really all I need to know

Check out her photo spread in ‘Ralph’ magazine in Australia and Maxim UK (NSFW). Yowza!

WARNING: This blog entry is super geeky. Proceed only if you know what an “elastic computing cloud” is

This article is a little older, but I was blown away when I saw it. The Enomaly Open Source Consulting group has been able to get Windows Server 2003 running on the Amazon Elastic [...]
