As part of the Halo 3-launch madness, I pre-ordered “HALO 3 - XBOX 360 - Pre-Oder: Estimated Release Date: Sept. 25, 2007″ on Dell.ca a couple weeks ago. Knowing I’m a complete idiot, I changed my mind today and decided to go pick up a copy tonight.

I called Dell to cancel my pre-ordered copy if it hadn’t been shipped yet. I was able to cancel my order without a hassle because they won’t ship until tomorrow “subject to availability”. In other words, all these people who pre-ordered a copy of Halo 3 with Dell, won’t get a copy until Wednesday at the earliest, and only if they don’t run out. There is no guarantee from Dell that they are going to have enough copies.

If you really want to be playing Halo 3 by the weekend, you’ll probably want to make sure you pick on up in stores
