Tonight in a star-studded event, Theo Tams was named the winner of Canadian Idol. The Lethbridge, Alberta native was a clear favourite since his armpit-stained first audition. When he first played piano in the top 100 show, he exploded in popularity. He’s also one of the best professionally trained musicians to ever come on Canadian Idol. Congrats, Theo!
Teary-eyed, of his final competitor Mitch MacDonald he said “I’ll be first in line to buy his record”. Of his new title as the season 6 Canadian Idol, “Thanks so much.”
