Here’s a live-feed tracker of the data coming in from the pollsters for the 2008 Federal Election in Canada. It will update a couple times a day leading up to the election on October 14th. The Conservatives are pretty far out in front at the moment

Of course they are. The smartest thing they did was “unite the right” a few years ago while the left leaning voters are still split between three parties. The result is that the likely government will be Conservative, representing the smallest group of Canadians. Not a great system.
Hence the ridiculous vote pairing to try to get something accomplished
